Take Action! | Sustainability | SIU

Hello Saluki Green Action Team! Many of you have joined us in the EcoChallenge competition, but this week we really need some more help!

So far as a team we have spent 433 minutes outdoors, consumed 45 more servings of vegetables and fruits, saved 321 gallons of water, and spent 1,087 minutes exercising. There are many opportunities on campus to take simple actions to make us the #greenerSIU and boost our score. Check out the Sustainability Month calendar for events such as a sustainability related seminar, a bike repair workshop, and a trail building day at Touch of Nature Environmental Center; all of these events can count towards points in the EcoChallenge!
